Pemberton Digital develops occupancy technology for cafe, QSR and fast casual operators. 


Beyond people counting, Pemberton provides sensor-to-dashboard analytics spanning occupancy, queue performance and service metrics, offering a cost-effective alternative to video analysis. 


Proprietary sensors use mmWave radar technology to gather occupancy data from key areas within a trading area, with insights on customer movement delivered via web app or integration.


mmWave radar is similar to the human-spotting technology used in automotive applications. Pemberton’s sensors are tuned specifically for retail use and can perform a range of tasks by measuring the presence, directionality, and dwell time of customers in-store. Ceiling or vertically mounted, each sensor can monitor an area of up to ~1,000 sq ft.


Being lens-less, Pemberton’s solution is 100% private, cost-effective, and easy to install. Once deployed, the low-power devices offer unrivalled stability, at any scale.
