About James Dewar

James is a qualified accountant who spent twenty years working in financial services, including running finance systems; he always had one foot in finance and one in IT. James discovered Bitcoin in 2020 whilst doing a Research MSc in Finance & Accounting. That led to a change of direction and James set out to get involved with Bitcoin business development in the UK. James''s co-founders at Bridge 2 Bitcoin are Chris Gordon and Simon Pither. Chris has a number of strands within his career, the most relevant of which is as a business angel investor. Simon co-ordinates the growing number of Bitcoin meet up groups across the UK. James, Chris and Simon all set up and run their local meet up groups, Berkshire, Surrey and Northamptonshire respectively.
